DistrictManager Projects (.dmp)

The file format .dmp was used by the former independent software DistrictManager up to version 8.4. It was the project format in which own area structures could be stored.

EasyMap supports this format in three ways for compatibility reasons:

• As base map: You can insert DMP map bases like the other supported formats from control window map bases into a map.
• As a template for a map folder: Open the *.dmp file via the menu File > Open... and select Convert in the following step. The DMP file is now converted into an EasyMap map folder and is then independent of the original DMP project.
• As map folder with link to DMP: Open the *.dmp file via the menu File > Open and select Open in the following step. The DMP file is now opened in an EasyMap map folder, but still uses the DMP dynamically as the source. Changes to this file will be applied to the EasyMap map folder.
