Size adjustment of objects

The resizing of objects is related to the scale dependent visibility. This setting affects all symbol-drawing analyses as well as point- and location planes from the territory organization. After the map folder has been switched to automatic zoom, the objects mentioned are no longer zoomed in on the screen to true scale as before, but are hardly zoomed in at all.

The way EasyMap adjusts the size of such objects can be customized. In the analysis properties, you will find the Size adjustment setting under Details / Visibility. For point and location levels you will also find this setting in the properties, here in the area Details.

Size adjustment options

Preserve scale	The objects are enlarged to scale. You choose this setting if you plan to print the map in a certain size or in a certain scale and want to set a fixed size suitable for the desired scale.
Slightly enlarge	The Slightly enlarge setting is a modification of Fixed size, which has a slight zoom in the screen display.
Barely enlarge	The Barely enlarge setting is a modification of Fixed size, which has a slight zoom in the screen display when zooming in.
Fixed size (fixed size on screen)	The setting Fixed size causes the size of the objects on the screen to always appear in the same size. On the other hand, this changes the size of the object relative to the other map contents.
