Distance Zones

With the analysis Distance zones in the menu area organisation you can calculate distance zones around the territory locations and display them in the Show map. The air line distances are determined from the location of the Territory to the center of all bricks of the territory. barriers can be taken into account.

With the help of the distance zones you can analyze, how well your sales locations are placed within the area. You can see at a glance whether the locations are centrally located in your area. or which parts of the areas are far away from the site.

Unallocated areas, territories without location and Locations without assignment to a territory are not included in the analysis. are taken into account.

Note: This analysis is not available if there is no territorial analysis. or no territory.

Creating the Analysis Distance Zones

The analysis can be reached via the menu Territory organization > Analyses > Distance zones. First you are asked on which level or to which locations the distance zones should be calculated.

Alternatively, you can also insert the distance zones in the control window area organisation in the context menu of the area or location level under analyses.

Selection of the data basis

In the next step select the map in which the analysis is to be displayed and the plane on the basis of which the distances are calculated. The basic building block level and all subordinate area levels of the territory structure can be selected as levels.

Then click on Complete and EasyMap will insert a first draft of the distance zones into the map.

Edit Properties

Immediately after inserting the analysis, the Properties on the right side open. The properties can be reopened at any time via the control window Content by double-clicking on the map layer Distance zones.

With this analysis, the column to be analyzed can be selected, similar to the analysis surface coloring. The default is distance to location. Under Statistics you will find various distance codes. The zones around the site can be either classified in classes or continuous with increasing distance to the site.

Classified data evaluation

The creation of classes offers you numerous setting options. In addition to the number of classes or zones, you can specify how the limit values of the classes are to be determined.

Continuously colored distance zones

The setting continuous in the type of data evaluation offers you the comfort of obtaining a surface coloration without specifying classes, which displays the distance in a continuous color gradient.

Determine the details of the analysis

In Details you define other (non-data-dependent) properties of the analysis.

Create tooltips for analysis

When crossing the colored areas on the map, you can display context-sensitive information about them.

The commands of the context menu

You can right-click on the analysis in the control window Content to open its context menu. The context menu provides actions that can be performed on this analysis.
