North arrow

A north arrow indicates the orientation of the map. The difference to a free-motion graphic object is that the object is automatically rotated so that it actually points north. Depending on the map used and projection this is not necessarily at the top. To use this function, the object must be inside a map.

You can right-click on an object in the control window Contents or on a selected object in the map window to open its context menu. This offers some actions that can be performed on this object.
